Platform Manager V&A Assessment
Job Description Summary
Position Summary:
The Platform Manager is responsible for the successful design and planning of tax associated projects and for the associated administrative and budgetary control responsibilities; and for the planning organizing coordination of resources implementing directing and control of these projects. Will be involved with supporting team members in performing assessment reviews for C&W clients to achieve maximum tax savings and other consulting services. Will include data gathering interactions with various assessment officials management of national deadline calendar and initial property analysis. Must have exceptional organizational analytical and problem-solving. Must have the ability to lead a team and/or mentor less experienced team members.
Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
- Assists with group direction through performance of routine tasks and activities and establishes processes methods and systems.
- Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance along with maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files.
- Client relationships: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients through frequent communication transparency and quality assurance. Prepare general correspondence to clients as well as interoffice communications. Updates and maintains organized client files
- Project & Production Support: Proactively manage project-related risks and issues. Communicate with field assessors regarding project assignments deadlines site access issues etc. Coordinate scheduling of site visits and dissemination of on-site project requirements. Maintain accuracy of assessment calendar which includes the tracking of all milestone assessment dates. Troubleshoot project issues and redirect to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Client feedback: Sharing market and customer feedback with internal teams and following up with clients to understand satisfaction.
- Professional Associate Database: Plam implement and optimize a contractor network staffing strategy aligned with project demands. Enter and maintain accurate project and contractor data in internal systems.
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry related experience
- Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts including property assessments and taxes zoning incentives property values and revenues & expenses are also important
- The ability to easily grasp new but basic real estate concepts
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word Excel)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- A positive attitude desire to collaborate in a team environment sharing relevant information with colleagues and clients
- Proactively problem solve and remove obstacles that prohibit us from doing our best work
- Uphold the V&A standards of respect responsiveness and people first (colleagues and clients)
