Responsibilities

• Engagement: walks outings games crafts meal preparation grocery shopping and conversation
• Light House Keeping: laundry vacuuming dishes dusting trash removal and checking mail
• Personal Care: bathing dressing grooming and toileting
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assist with transportation to doctors appointments

Credentials Needed to Schedule an Interview

• Drivers License
• Auto Ins
• CPR Card
• TB with in the last year (or TB X-Ray with in last 5 years)
• AHCA background check
• HHA Certificate and/or CNA License

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or in-home environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver CNA or HHA or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Parkinsons Foundation CEU (we will provide this online class to you no cost to you if you do not have it yet)
