Job Description
This is a site based position in Surrey BC.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete field survey requests including measurements setup and configuration of survey instruments to ensure precision
- Establish primary and secondary survey control for a variety of projects
- Interpret and extrapolate surveying data from construction and design drawings ensuring full alignment with project specifications
- Utilize Total Station and GPS equipment to collect and analyze survey data
- Collaborate closely with engineers architects and other stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and meet regulatory standards
- Troubleshoot and maintain surveying equipment for optimal performance in the field
- Work in outdoor environments supporting diverse projects including concrete formwork structural elements piling earthworks and utilities
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in field surveying particularly in concrete formwork structural elements piling earthworks and utilities
- Proficiency in using Total Station and GPS equipment with a familiarity with Trimble and Access software UAV (drone) experience is an asset
- Experience with Civil3D Trimble Business Center and MicroSurvey Star*Net will be considered an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for recognizing discrepancies and ensuring the highest quality of work
Compensation
$76000 - $104500 annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
