Job Description
Our client an industry leader in the communication space has the need for a talented Financial Systems Architect. The role is Hybrid and provides some flexible work from home days with at least 3 days per week being spent in either our clients Atlanta GA or Bellevue WA office location.
This is a full-time direct-hire position with our client and the chosen candidate will enjoy a selection of world class benefits and a very attractive comp plan.
The chosen Financial (FINTECH) System Architect will lead the design of scalable secure and high-impact consumer fintech platforms that power digital banking experiences co-branded credit cards embedded finance and personalized financial tools. This exciting role will touch all my clients technology teams. You will work closely with internal product managers UX/UI designers and engineers to help build smart and safe financial experiences for a mobile-first customer.
What should your past be filled with
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or business/fintech certifications are a plus.
- 5-10 years working in financial services FinTech or digital banking environments with customer-facing product delivery.
- 5-10 years working in enterprise systems architecture software engineering or infrastructure design at scale.
- Experience working with consumer banking platforms credit card issuance systems or BaaS platforms
- Working with Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering (KYC/AML) vendors fraud prevention tools or financial data aggregators
- Experience with mobile and web application architecture for financial products including account opening card activation and account servicing.
Some thing that will get you to the front of the line:
- Previous experience working with Galileo Marqeta Synapse Bond Unit
- Previous experience working with Alloy Persona Plaid Trustly MX
- Previous experience working with FinTech systems within the framework of PCI DSS SOC 2 and other regulatory obligations.
- Previous experience with cloud-native development (AWS GCP Azure) containerization (Docker and Kubernetes) and API-first ecosystems.
