Job Description

St Joseph in Medford is seeking a caring organized and skilled School Nurse to join our school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our 205 students ranging from preschool through eighth grade. Come work with us and enjoy a low-stress one-on-one patient experience and a place where every patient will value your care!Key Responsibilities:Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during school hoursManage and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and school policiesMaintain accurate and confidential student health recordsMonitor immunization compliance and communicate with families as neededCollaborate with staff families and local health providers to support student wellnessRespond to public health guidance and implement school-wide health protocols as neededProvide basic health education and resources to the school communityQualifications:Licensed nurse in the Commonwealth of MassachusettsCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationExperience working with children or in a school setting strongly preferredStrong communication organizational and record-keeping skillsAbility to work collaboratively with students families and staffCommitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic schoolThis job is available as a part time position Mondays-Fridays from 9am unti 1pm or a full time position Mondays-Fridays from 9 am until 5pm
