Join our team as a Maintenance Technician Troubleshooter!
Performs semi skilled work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and associated equipment/systems. Responds to emergency situations as necessary.
High School diploma/GED.
- General knowledge/skills of the following: minor HVAC minor electrical minor plumbing minor carpentry minor repair of doors/windows including hardware painting including minor wall repair general building maintenance mechanical aptitude respond to various alarms (fire elevator entrapment sprinkler leaks etc.
Must possess maturity in judgment have demonstrated professionalism creativity and ability to get along with widely diverse personalities.
Basic computer skills.
Minimum of 5 years experience performing work as described herein.
Individual must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by the University which includes maintaining a low risk driving record.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Monitor Metasys HVAC control systems.
Refrigerant recovery certification.
Trades related certifications/training (documentation required).
