Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Banking Operations Specialist provides essential support for treasury management and business banking clients by administering services processing requests and delivering high-quality client service. This role ensures smooth implementation and maintenance of products supports the Business Banking Solutions sales team and works closely with internal departments such as Operations IT and Compliance. The specialist also serves as a technical resource helping to troubleshoot and guide both clients and colleagues through system and service-related processes.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Administer reconcile and provide client support for business and treasury services including ACH Origination Positive Pay Online Wires Remote Deposit Capture Sweep Services and Online Banking access.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and implementation of new treasury management products ensuring accurate client setup documentation and in-depth training.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for business clients and Business Banking Solutions sales team assessing client needs resolving service-related issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to clients and act as a resource for the team regarding system functionality service platforms and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver responsive and professional service via phone and email to ensure a high-quality client experience.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to support audit readiness and future reference.
  • Process maintenance requests and updates for existing clients ensuring timely follow-up and precise execution.
  • Independently manage the exchange of information addressing client concerns and technical questions with confidence.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to refer clients to Business Banking Solutions sales team as appropriate.
  • Continuously evaluate procedures for efficiency contribute to process improvements and document changes accordingly.
  • Support training efforts for new hires and new systems or procedures.
  • Perform additional duties within the scope of the position as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Work Direction: This position reports to the Business Banking Operations Supervisor

Supervision: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. Typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role the individual must fulfill each performance objective and primary responsibility satisfactorily. The following requirements reflect the necessary knowledge skills and abilities. Accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of three years banking experience preferably with a focus in treasury management online banking systems or cash management services.
  • Associate or bachelors degree in business finance or related field preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES

  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks manage deadlines and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating sound judgment.
  • High level of organizational skills accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical systems and processes clearly.
  • Proficiency with banking systems and technology platforms; comfort with learning and supporting technical applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients colleagues and cross-functional teams.
