Job Summary: As a Senior Developer on our team you will design develop test and implement solutions for our Data Ingestion platform. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working on .NET-based applications in a cloud environment and has experience implementing both batch and real-time data solutions. You will make well-informed decisions with deep knowledge of both the internal and external impacts on teams and projects. You will foresee shortcomings ahead of time and drive resolutions. You will code and maintain advanced .NET applications focusing on maintaining data quality and performance at scale. Additionally you will actively participate and support the Backlog Grooming process by working with the Product Owner Scrum Master Scrum Team and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly captured in Stories that the Scrum Team will ultimately deliver.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and implement solutions for the Data Ingestion platform.
- Code and maintain advanced .NET applications ensuring data quality and performance at scale.
- Implement both batch and real-time data solutions.
- Make well-informed decisions with a deep understanding of internal and external impacts on teams and projects.
- Foresee shortcomings ahead of time and drive resolutions.
- Actively participate in and support the Backlog Grooming process.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner Scrum Master Scrum Team and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly captured in Stories.
Qualifications:
- Must have 7 years of experience working with VB/C#.NET frameworks/.NET Core.
- Must have 3 years of application development in the cloud.
- Must have 3 years of experience with AWS services like Amazon S3 Amazon Glue EKS EC2 and Lambda.
- Experience working with REST APIs in the cloud.
- Knowledge of message queuing and event streaming platforms like Kafka is a plus.
- Prior experience with NoSQL database technologies.
- Understanding of distributed databases and both streaming and batch processing systems.
- Experience working with SQL and knowledgeable about relational database concepts.
