Job Description
Position Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse Traveler
Department: ICU Unit / ICU Flex Pool
Location: Athena Medtech

Shift: Monday Friday 07:00 PM 07:30 AM

Shift Type: 3 days/week 12-hour shifts

Total Weekly Hours: 36
Athena Medtech is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Flex Pool as a Traveler. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
Minimum Requirements-
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting

Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license meeting all state and facility requirements

Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications (if not listed these are standard and should be confirmed/added)

Deliver high-quality evidence-based care to acutely and critically ill patients

Implement and monitor individualized care plans based on patients conditions and physician directives

Supervise and coordinate the care provided by nursing and support staff within the unit

Serve as the acting charge nurse or lead RN in the absence of unit leadership

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient-centered care

Uphold hospital policies infection control standards and safety protocols
