Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Department: Labor and Delivery

Athena Medtech is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position is ideal for a compassionate nursing professional with a strong clinical background and a passion for maternal and newborn care.
Work Schedule-
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

Days: Monday through Friday (3 shifts/week)

Hours Per Week: 36 hours (12-hour shifts)

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience

License/Certification: Current and valid RN license in State

Certifications Preferred: BLS ACLS NRP and/or other relevant certifications

Develop implement and monitor individualized patient care plans

Monitor document and communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team

Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure comprehensive and cohesive treatment

Accurately interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders

Facilitate patient education and discharge planning in collaboration with the care team

Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families during labor and delivery

Proven expertise in labor and delivery nursing

Strong communication and critical-thinking skills

Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation protocols
