Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Organization: Athena Medtech
Location: Pittsfield Massachusetts
Athena Medtech is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in the scenic Berkshires. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills the ability to work independently and a commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Key Responsibilities-
Independently perform MRI procedures that meet high clinical and diagnostic standards

Operate and troubleshoot CR DR and PACS systems efficiently

Ensure strict adherence to infection control patient safety and confidentiality protocols

Collaborate with clinical teams to provide timely and accurate imaging results
-
Participate in training sessions and maintain up-to-date certifications and departmental competencies
-
Occasionally assist with onboarding or training new team members as needed

Completion of an AMA-approved MRI program (or diagnostic X-ray program with MRI training)

CPR certification required
-
ARRT (MR) certification required within two years of hire

ARRT (RTR) and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License preferred

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple clinical priorities

Must meet all annual education and compliance standards

MRI Imaging and Technical Accuracy

PACS/HIS/RIS System Competency

Independent Judgment in Clinical Imaging
