Job Description

Role: Business Analyst

Location: Omaha NE (100% Onsite role from Day 1)

Job type: Contract

Exp Level: Min 8 to 10 Years

Visa - GC and USC Only.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled business analyst to join our real estate technical support IT Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between the real estate team and tech ensuring seamless communication and effective solutions to meet business needs. This position involves analyzing change requests troubleshooting system issues and developing new processes to improve current workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the real estate team to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Analyze and document change requests to ensure clarity and feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Develop and optimize system processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Write Oracle SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.
  • Create detailed business requirement documents and business request tickets.
  • Test system changes to ensure they meet specified requirements and function as intended.
  • Required qualifications and skills:
  • Proven experience as a business analyst preferably within a technical support or IT environment.
  • Proficiency in writing Oracle SQL queries.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to capture and communicate requirements clearly.
  • Understanding of system workflows and the ability to develop new processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Union Pacific infrastructure and processes.
  • Experience in the real estate or financial industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with various IT systems and technology solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
