About the Role
Were seeking a Data Center Technician to join our team during the evening and overnight shift ensuring around-the-clock support for our mission-critical infrastructure. This role is vital to maintaining the reliability and performance of our data centers outside of standard business hours. Youll be on the front line troubleshooting hardware and networking issues supporting infrastructure availability and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
This is a 100% onsite position located at one of our CoreWeave Data Centers and supports our 24/7 operation.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain stable secure and high-performing data center operations during non-standard hours
- Conduct diagnostics and repair on server and network hardware
- Perform root cause analysis of hardware/software failures and implement corrective actions
- Provide overnight on-the-ground support for incidents and maintenance activities
- Document troubleshooting procedures fixes and operational knowledge
- Support ongoing infrastructure deployments by assembling and installing equipment
- Execute inventory management and update asset tracking systems
- Collaborate with day shift teams for continuity and handoff of unresolved issues
- Participate in an on-call rotation and assist with after-hours support when needed
Travel to other CoreWeave data center sites occasionally as required
Requirements:
- Experience with hardware assembly diagnostics and repair
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Strong communication time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during off-hours and escalate issues appropriately
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high or tight spaces (reasonable accommodations available)
- Willingness to work an overnight or rotating shift including weekends and holidays as needed
Education/Experience:
- Data center operations experience preferably in a 24/7 environment
- Computer networking knowledge (e.g. routing switching)
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python Bash etc.)
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
- Associates degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT Computer Science or related field
