Job Description
A busy and well-loved Italian restaurant in downtown Charleston is looking for a new Executive Chef to lead the kitchen. The menu focuses on handmade pasta wood-fired pizza and refined Italian classics all done with consistency and care. Were looking for someone who leads by example keeps the team on point and helps maintain a positive respectful kitchen culture.
What Youll Do as Executive Chef:
- Run day-to-day kitchen operations prep service scheduling and team support
- Ensure consistent quality across all dishes from pasta to pizza
- Handle ordering inventory and food/labor cost management
- Build and support a focused reliable back-of-house team
What Were Looking For in an Executive Chef:
- Solid experience leading a high-volume full-service kitchen
- Background in Italian cuisine especially pasta and pizza is a plus
- Strong with training communication and kitchen systems
- Reliable organized and calm under pressure
