Sound Bowl Therapy Volunteer Hospice Care
Location:Las Vegas Area Type:Volunteer Schedule:Flexible
Bring Calm Peace and Sacred Sound to Hospice Care
Do you have experience with sound bowls or sound healing and a heart for providing comfort at the end of life Join our hospice team as aSound Bowl Therapy Volunteerand use soothing resonant sound to help ease anxiety create serenity and offer moments of peace for patients and their loved ones.
What Youll Do:
- Providegentle sound bowl sessionsat the bedside for hospice patients in homes care centers or inpatient settings
- Use calming harmonic tones to supportrelaxation emotional ease and spiritual comfort
- Adjust tone rhythm and length of sessions to honor each patients physical emotional and spiritual state
- Offer aquiet compassionate presenceduring visits for both patients and family members
- Coordinate visits with the hospice care team and follow patient care plans and safety guidelines
What Youll Need:
Experience with sound bowls sound therapy or mindfulness-based healing practices
Compassionate sensitive and calming presence
Comfort working with individuals facing serious illness and those at the end of life
Ability to adapt your approach to meet patient preferences and needs
