This position is supporting our Global Finance Services Division (GFSD) which provides comprehensive finance services forthe enterprise and supports the finance-related functions of the business units includingaccounting and reporting pricing information technology strategy economics compliance and sales and operations planning. Thedivision includesCorporate AccountingBusiness EconomicsGlobal PricingFinancial Planning & AnalysisMergers & Acquisitions Global Business Servicesand Corporate Treasuryas well as Indirect ProcurementGlobal TravelCorporate Real Estate and Global Facilities.

What You Will Do:

As a Procurement Professional at Caterpillar you will perform challenging work while being exposed to a variety of GFSD functions in the areas of Procurement Cards (PCard) Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Cards SAP Concur and Oversight Analytics. Our PCard/T&E Card administration team provides excellent customer service to our card holders. Day to day functions will consist of answering emails (we manage multiple email inboxes) responding to MS Teams messages coordinating and assisting the PSC (Procurement Solutions Center) responding to and answering Pcard/T&E card policy questions working in the card providers application assisting with accounting grief creating reports based off customer requests answering expense book inquiries etc.

Skills Needed:

• Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
