Who are we looking for
In response to steady growth within our Water/Wastewater business our Southeast Region Water group is looking to bring onboard a motivated Relationship Manager to oversee the expansion of GHDs Water business in the Metropolitan Washington area. As a Client Relationship Manager you will be leading GHD pursuits of traditional and collaborative delivery projects for public clients responsible for safe and reliable water resources (drinking water wastewater and stormwater).

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Serve as Client Relationship Manager for existing and emerging Priority Water clients
Lead business development sales and marketing of Water projects with a specific focus on clients throughout the Metropolitan Washington area
Lead pursuits and proposal development for water projects in the Metropolitan Washington area
Build effective relationships with the GHDs Priority clients
Direct pricing scoping and win strategies for new work
Serve as Project Director of projects related to planning assessment design and engineering during construction services for water and wastewater projects (both process and linear conveyance)
Direct the technical and production work of project teams administering contractual aspects of the project and acting as primary contact for client
Establishment of project delivery strategy and Quality Assurance planning
Mentor team members and assess work assignments; provide direction and training as needed to team members
Actively participate in professional organizations to promote the GHD brand
Promote and cross sell other GHD services
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related fields
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Virginia or Maryland (Metropolitan Washington DC area a plus)
Minimum 15 years of experience in the water wastewater process and/or conveyance infrastructure field
Strong client focus (demonstrated experience in the Metropolitan Washington area area a plus)
Strong business development proposal preparation and marketing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop mentor and lead professional technical staff
