Description

Job Summary
As a Market Research Analyst you will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting complex data sets from various sources to inform business strategy and operations. You will focus on social intelligence monitoring construction project data analysis and market research operations to provide valuable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social intelligence monitoring systems to track industry trends competitor activities and customer sentiment
  • Analyze construction project data to identify patterns inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement
  • Conduct in-depth market research to evaluate potential business opportunities competitive landscape and industry developments
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders at all levels
  • Follow and develop standards policies and procedures for the form structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop tailored analytical solutions
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and project success
  • Perform regular data quality assessments and implement improvements to data collection methodologies
  • Translate complex data findings into clear actionable recommendations for business strategy
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence social intelligence and data analytics
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Data Analytics Economics Social Intelligence or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or related role
  • Proven track record in analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Qlik)
  • Experience with database management
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables functions and data modeling
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear concise manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with voice of customer (VoC) programs and methodologies
  • Proficiency in designing implementing and analyzing customer surveys and feedback
  • Knowledge of construction or manufacturing industry processes and terminology
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and sentiment analysis
  • Certification in business intelligence social intelligence and/or data analytics (e.g. CBIP Microsoft Power BI)
