Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our Dickinson TX team!
TheI&E Maintenance technicianwill be responsible forperforming hands-on instrument checks calibrations and PLC Logic programming along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
Maintains accurate records and logs as required
Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
Installs cabling power distribution systems and motor control centers
Services and replaces motors and lighting
Performs general electrical maintenance
Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Instrument and/or electrical training degree or certification preferred
Journeyman Electrician License a plus!
4 years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferred
Distributed control system (DCS) experience required
Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) required
Experience working with 480v and below
DeltaV is an asset!
Wonderware and/or Honeywell preferred
Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)
Team player willing to jump in where needed
Ability to prioritize work
Mechanically inclined
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs bend stoop lift climb and stand for long periods of time
