About the Opportunity
The Cloud Solutions and Services Group has an immediate opening for an OpenShift Engineer reporting to a Chapter Lead within the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) squad.
The OCP squad is a small group of engineers focused on platform engineering and supporting applications on the OpenShift Kubernetes Platform. This role is a augmenting the growing squad and will be focused on deploying managing and maintaining clusters that run OpenShift.
What You Will Do:
- Responsibilities include creation management and maintenance current and new OCP clusters.
- Work with Customers and their applications for Incident and Problem management associated with running the applications on the clusters.
- Troubleshot issues associated with the clusters including any networking or performance issues
- Work in an Agile Environment as part of the squad and participate in Agile ceremonies and activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4-5 years experience working with OpenShift platform including Linux Servers/Virtual Machines focused on platform engineering
- RedHat OCP Kubernetes Ansible Automation Linux Administration VMWare VSphere CI/CD Tools like Gitlab Shell and Bash Scripting GitOps and tools like ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of Prometheus Dynatrace and other observability tools along with familiarity with Redhat Technologies and upgrade paths.
