Nursery Third in Charge Level 3 Qualified
Salary: Up to 30000
Full-time All Year Round
Are you a Senior Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader ready to take the next step in your early years career Our client is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Third in Charge to support the Nursery Manager and Deputy in delivering outstanding care leadership and learning across their setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established nursery team and take on more responsibility in a supportive environment that values growth and development.
What Were Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) essential
- Experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or similar senior role
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Confident in supporting staff managing routines and leading by example
- Passionate about providing high-quality childcare and supporting childrens development
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a positive proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Take responsibility for the setting in the absence of senior managers
- Lead and support your room team in delivering engaging age-appropriate activities
- Promote a safe inclusive and nurturing environment for all children
- Help coach and mentor team members offering guidance and performance support
- Maintain accurate EYFS observations assessments and records
- Build strong relationships with children parents and colleagues
