Salary:per annum (dependent on experience)

Exciting Opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor in the centre of the Historic City of York
Our client a well-established and respected regional law firm with a strong litigation offering is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their busy dispute resolution team in York.
This is a broad and varied litigation role handling a mixture of civil and commercial disputes and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team that deals with high-quality often complex matters. The position comes with strong support an excellent working environment and long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters including contract disputes property disputes debt recovery professional negligence and contentious probate (if experienced)
Advising a wide range of clients including individuals SMEs and commercial entities
Handling cases from initial instruction through to resolution via negotiation ADR or litigation
Drafting legal documents statements and court submissions
Supporting wider team initiatives and contributing to business development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 3 years PQE in civil or commercial litigation
Experience running their own files with minimal supervision
Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation best practices
Excellent communication analytical and client-facing skills
A commercial and proactive approach to resolving disputes
