Les quipes de souscription dAIG aident trouver des solutions dassurance dans des secteurs tels que les produits financiers lassurance des biens lassurance responsabilit les risques spcialiss lassurance contre les cyber-risques les clients multinationaux et les produits dassurance pour les particuliers fortuns. Nous rimaginons constamment notre faon daider nos clients grer les risques en transformant notre modle oprationnel et en restructurant nos responsabilits et nos parcours professionnels. Production et souscription des diffrents produits offerts par le service de responsabilit civile. Maximiser la rentabilit (par exemple tarification conservation avenants limite dassurance indemnisation) en tenant compte de tous les facteurs inhrents au dossier.

Comment vous crerez un impact

• Production et souscription rentable de nouvelles affaires et de renouvellements.

• valuation des risques et laboration de solutions de souscription travailler conjointement avec les actuaires si ncessaire.

• Rvision et analyse des garanties de police et de lexprience de sinistres.

• Sassurer que les dossiers sont bien documents et respectent les normes et protocoles tablies.

• Maintenir la profitabilit du portfolio daffaire.

• Prparer des demandes dapprobation (si ncessaire) prparation de soumissions et confirmation de garanties.

• Effectuer des activits de marketing dvelopper les lignes daffaire cibles

• Gestion des relations daffaires auprs des courtiers clients et gestionnaires de risques

• Dvelopper des solutions avec dautres divisions sur les nouvelles opportunits daffaires et de renouvellement.

• Peut ncessiter des voyages occasionnels pour soutenir les relations daffaires avec les courtiers et clients.

• Travailler avec nos diffrents centres de service.

Ce quil vous faut pour russir

• Scolarit Cgep ou Universit un atout
• Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en franais (requis au Qubec seulement).
• Excellentes comptences en communication orale et crite
• Sens accru de lorganisation de la gestion du temps avoir de bonnes qualits de prsentateur et de ngociateur.
• Habilet grer adquatement le volume de travail surtout pendant les priodes trs achalandes et lors de dlais serrs.
• Attention soutenue maintenir une diligence approprie et le respect de la conformit dans tous les dossiers.

This Underwriter role will be an ideal next step in your career if you already have some relevant experience in insurance or this could be your entry into underwriting if you have transferable skills.

AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines Property Casualty Specialty Lines Cyber Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

• This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Admitted Casualty.
• Production and underwriting of profitable new and renewal business.
• Complete rating tool apply risk judgment and work with actuaries if required.
• Review of policy coverage claims experience and deal structure analysis.
• Ensure files are well documented and comply with corporate standards.
• Maintain profitability of book of business.
• Prepare referrals (when required) quote letters and bind letters.
• Perform marketing activities grow target business
• Relationship management including servicing of brokers clients and risk managers
• Develop underwriting solutions with other divisions on new business and renewal opportunities
• May require occasional travel to support broker and client relationship
• Work with center of excellence and / or shared services on policy administration.
• Resolve accounting inquiries month end verification in liaison with center of excellence and shared services on premium coding
• Assist claims department with requests on file documentation.

What youll need to succeed

• College and/or University degree an asset
• Fluent in French is considered an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational time management presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage work load effectively especially during times of high activity and tight time lines
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines as well as in a team oriented approach to accomplish branch results
