Saw Helper 1st Shift Starting at $18/hour
Location: South Bend IN
Shift: 1st Shift
Type: Full-Time

If youre someone who enjoys working with your hands operating machinery and being a critical part of production this could be the perfect fit.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Sort stack clean wash and inspect materials to keep production flowing smoothly
• Assist in order filling packaging and completing paperwork accurately
• Operate forklifts cranes and other material-handling equipment
• Support machine operators with key tasks to ensure efficient workflow
• Keep the work area clean organized and safe
• Report equipment issues promptly and help maintain tools in top condition
• Pitch in where needed and help train new team members
• Follow all safety protocols and lean manufacturing practices
• Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery

What You Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Forklift experience
• Basic math reading and computer skills
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
• Comfortable using hand-held measuring tools and scanning devices
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
