If so Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Business Administrator III position!
What Youll Do:
Acts as the Fiscal Officer and Cost Center Manager for Reiman Gardens.
Prepares monthly yearly and forecast budgets and expenditures.
Recommends and implements annual budget allocations.
Reconciles all monthly statements for ISU and ISU Foundation accounts.
Prepares and maintains monthly financial reports to compare monthly revenue reports against expense projections.
Coordinates monitors and maintains financial functions including purchasing payroll personnel budget and revenue collection.
Approves and processes invoices transactions payments etc.
Assists with maintaining and reporting donations and donor communication information to ISU Foundation.
Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to create revise and implement strategic plans while partnering on projects staff development and facilities.
Serves on different committees and workgroups.
Directly supervises a small staff of individuals.
Provides administrative support such as preparing memos handling building and contents inventory performing audits on policies and procedures etc.
The successful candidate for this position will have strong problem solving skills and have the ability to think outside the box. This individual will also have strong communication and customer service skills.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.

Regularly exercises judgment to resolve problems and determine appropriate action on a broad set of issue and problems. May provide recommendations regarding problems/issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices
Responds to complicated inquiries provides training and provides direction to lower-level staff
May provide supervision for one to two other staff (i.e. leads a small work team)
May lead projects for which well-defined practices and procedures may not exist
Provides guidance to students
