Director of Nursing (DON) Skilled Nursing Facility Gastonia NC
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our skilled nursing facility in Gastonia North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care and team development.
Position Summary:
As Director of Nursing you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations ensuring the highest quality of care and fostering a positive and collaborative environment for staff and residents alike. You will lead the nursing team with integrity vision and a deep commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for the nursing department
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Recruit train and retain top nursing talent
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Previous DON or strong ADON experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Exceptional communication organizational and leadership skills
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices
