Job Description
The Creative & Social Media Manager will lead the resorts visual storytelling and digital engagement strategies. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a passion for hospitality marketing responsible for managing social media channels overseeing content creation and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media plan creating engaging content across platforms such as Instagram Facebook LinkedIn and TikTok to enhance brand visibility and guest engagement. - Content Creation & Visual Asset Management:
Produce high-quality visual content including photography and videography to showcase resort offerings. Manage and organize digital assets for use across marketing channels. - Influencer & Partnership Coordination:
Identify and collaborate with social media influencers and local partners to promote the resort managing contracts and ensuring alignment with brand objectives. - Event Promotion & Coverage:
Coordinate marketing efforts for resort events capturing and sharing content to drive attendance and engagement. - Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor social media metrics analyze campaign performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement. - Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work closely with departments such as Sales Food & Beverage and Spa to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and consistent messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Design or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in social media management and content creation preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Canva and other design tools.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and SEO best practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional travel around the property for content creation and event support.
