Job Description
Were the @one Alliance a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty Barhale Binnies MMB MWH Treatment Skanska and SWECO. Together we deliver over half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme.
As we enter AMP8 our most ambitious period yet well be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.
What will you be doing as our new Senior Health & Safety Advisor
Were passionate about keeping our people safe happy and thriving which is why were strengthening our SHEA (Safety Health Environment and Assurance) team with a dedicated Senior Health Safety Advisor.
Youll be part of a collaborative team delivering impactful projects that improve lives and protect the environment. Youll work alongside industry leaders in a culture that truly prioritises wellbeing safety and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a visible champion of our Safer Everyday strategy:
- Help teams develop strong consistent safety behaviours in line with our Safer Everyday principles
- Build open collaborative environments that drive a culture of safety
- Conduct site inspections and assurance visits to keep our standards high
- Deliver inspiring training sessions from orientation to on-site briefings
- Measure impact and drive continuous improvement across projects
- Share best practices and support innovation across the alliance
About you:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and Tech IOSH (or higher) membership
- A valid CSCS Safety Professional card
- Strong communication and people skills youre trusted respected and supportive
- A full UK driving licence for site visits
