Job Description

Easterseals Blake Foundation started as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Arizona. Since then we have expanded our services to better serve our community members. Our program provides evidence-based counseling offered to children families and adults. All services are designed to meet the needs of the individual and family ensuring that members receive quality care. Trained clinicians focus on strengths to support members and families through life transitions behavioral concerns and/or behavioral health and substance abuse challenges Play-based therapy is utilized for young children.


General Position Description: Provides oversight of program operations and ensures compliance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight of and assistance for all applicable site positions. This may include administrative oversight of the site multiple sites or higher level of supervision.
  • Ensure all staff caseloads are assigned and removed in a timely manner. Complete Case assignments on an ongoing basis and when employees leave.
  • Ensure all staff are provided with monthly caseload expectations including upcoming due annual assessments service plans ASAMs and Crisis Plans. Completes audits to ensure progress of these tasks.
  • Schedule weekly administrative supervision with each employee to review productivity time management and to outline monthly goals.
  • Attend all applicable meetings and relay pertinent information to staff members on essential information and upcoming trainings.
  • Staff all issues ethical concerns DTO/DTS and potential petitions with clinical site supervisor or clinical director.
  • Responsible for maintaining all assigned task tracking tools and ensuring all required supervision forms are completed and uploaded within the outlined deadlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring all staff are completing their assigned trainings by designated due dates.
  • Participates in ongoing program planning and development as directed.
  • Responsible for managing program inbox to include referral queues.
  • Responsible for ensuring all programmatic licensure and compliance standards are adhered to.
  • Provide a broad range of administrative and supervisory functions. Supervises assigned staff in accordance with EBF personnel practices including recruitment training performance evaluations and day to day scheduling. Participates in the process of ongoing professional development. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency members and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct Strategic Plan Mission and Vision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/ GED with 5 years behavioral health experience. Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.


Regulatory

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Current unrestricted AZ drivers license with no more than two (2) minor moving violations or one (1) accident within the past three (3 years). Three (3) years of driving experience required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (employer provides).


Skills/Job Knowledge/Abilities: Able to establish and maintain a team atmosphere of communication and collaboration for all that reach out to the Department. Must be self-directed and be sensitive to cultural and linguistic diversity. Excellent customer service in stressful situations. Maintains a professional in appearance communications and actions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Basic knowledge of AHCCCS/RHBA policies practices and procedures. Possess a high level of computer proficiency.


Working Conditions/Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Normal office environment with multiple interruptions in person and through computer and phone. Travel to outlying sites and other locations. Interacts with employees and members of the public on a daily basis. High activity environment with member and guardian interactions. May lift normal office equipment and materials up to 25lbs. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens forms and to assess the wellbeing of members. Able to speak clearly in conversations general communications and to communicate verbally with members and emergency personnel as needed for daily operations. Hearing ability for communication in persona phone and/or other electronic methods. Manual dexterity to assist members with paperwork and daily functions. Able to stoop squat reach pull push stretch ascend and descend stairs stand and sit for long periods of time. May be required to work additional hours or days depending on circumstances.
