Machine Operator
The Machine Operator can operate all light machines along with additional machines that are at a medium complexity rating. The individual in this position is responsible for working as part of a team of machine operators to produce bottle and package syrups purees and flavors in accordance with company standards Good Manufacturing Practices Safe Quality Food requirements and USDA guidelines for safe production of food products.
Essential Functions:
Monitor and operate a variety of machines throughout the shift
Embrace and encourage housekeeping and sanitation of all manufacturing work areas by performing daily cleaning duties
Report mechanical and physical parts failures to manager and maintenance department through work orders
Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.
Communicate collaborate and coordinate effectively with Syrup Maintenance and Scheduling teams.
Ability to understand the operate the De-palletizer Case Packer Box Erector and Box Sealer along with other machines
Total Productive Maintenance for assigned equipment
Upholds and inspires adoption of company mission and values.
Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:
Position requires standing continuously throughout the shift
Ability to stand reach walk stoop push and pull
Ability to operate all light level machines.
Push pull lift and carry up to 45 pounds
Attention to detail
Passion for following safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for self and coworkers
Must be self-directed
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Good verbal and written communication skills
