The Study Cats Student Success Coach provides instruction and support to students participating in the UVM Study CATS Program a university-wide academic intervention program which provides support for first and second year students whose GPA is below a 2.3 and who will benefit from additional directed intervention. Teach the required course focused on growth mindset executive function and academic skills and increasing student utilization of targeted university resources. Communicate with eligible and enrolled students their academic student services staff the Registrar and other student support services staff across campus. Provide support for the Program Coordinator who manages administrative components of the Study CATS program including curriculum development course scheduling and enrollment assessment and reporting. The Success Coach is supervised by the Director of the Center for Academic Success and helps create and carry out the Centers mission including a strong commitment to inclusive excellence and Universal Design for Learning.
