Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 17.50 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 20-40 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefited position for conducting chemical and material research in Dr. Dus lab.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Synthesis and characterization of silicon-containing monomers
- Synthesis and characterization of polymeric materials and their applications in biomedical field
- Laboratory upkeep and maintenance
Required Competencies
- Interest and experience with synthetic chemistry
Minimum Requirements
- BS degree in Chemistry
- Experience with undergraduate research in synthetic chemistry and NMR technique
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
