As part of our exciting expansion we are introducing new roles and looking for dynamic and compassionate DualRegistered Childrens Home Managers to join our team.
Where Our Children Live is a programme of work focusing on creating Lancashire homes for Lancashire children as part of a modernisation and expansion of Childrens Residential Childcare at Lancashire County Council.
As part of the Residential Leadership Team this position involves overseeing the daily operations of two Childrens Homes ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Dual Registered Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring two teams of Residential Childcare Workers supported by four Deputy Managers.
The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant qualifications in social care or a related field with proven experience in managing Childrens Homes or similar settings. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential along with a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of our children. Excellent organisational and time-management skills are required to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Personal attributes such as empathy compassion resilience and integrity are considered essential for this role. The Dual Registered Manager must have a caring and empathetic approach to working with children and staff the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism and a strong sense of ethics and integrity in all aspects of the role.
