You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailBertrandt Technology a leading company specializing in software development and engineering solutions for industries such as automotive aerospace and defense is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our growing team in Spain.
As a KAM focused on the aerospace and defense sectors you will be the primary interface between Bertrandt Technology and our strategic clients. You will play a pivotal role in understanding client needs identifying business opportunities and fostering long-term relationships that drive mutual growth. Your strategic insight technical understanding and client-centric mindset will be key to strengthening Bertrandts market presence in high-technology and regulated environments.
Key responsibilities:
Client relationship management: Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Business development: Identify new business opportunities and lead commercial proposals aligned with the clients needs and Bertrandts capabilities.
Strategic account planning: Define and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Market intelligence: Monitor industry trends client roadmaps and competitive dynamics to inform internal stakeholders and shape business strategy.
Collaboration with internal teams: Act as the voice of the customer working closely with engineering project management and senior leadership to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
Contract management and negotiation: Lead contract negotiations ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Academic background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
Sector experience: Proven experience in key account management or business development within the aerospace and/or defense industries.
Language skills: Advanced proficiency in English (C1) is required. A good level of German will be highly valued.
Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles public procurement processes and contract negotiation in regulated industries.
Technical understanding: Ability to engage in technical discussions and translate client needs into viable engineering solutions.
