About the Company.
We have a fantastic opportunity to represent this highly successful company having been built with a culture of collaboration and is a rare chance to join a high performing team on a 12 months fixed term contract and lead a team of specialised analysts.
The Position.
The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for financial planning reporting and performance management across key business role partners closely with internal stakeholders to deliver timely accurate insights that support business decision-making. A key focus of the role is to drive continuous improvement in the month-end activities budgeting forecasting and compoliance.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Manage month-end close process and deliver accurate financial results.
- Review workflow processes and work towards a 3-day end of month close.
- Prepare and review financial reports variance analysis and commentary to support business decisions.
- Be involved with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly reforecasting cycles.
- Collaborate with internal managers and provide financial anlaysis that improve informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across finance and operations.
- Complete audit queries and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate year-end deliverables in partnership with the corporate accounting team.
- Oversee daily finance workflows to ensure timely execution and quality of financial tasks.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate.
You will ideally have prior expeience in a similor role where building business relationships has had a positve impact on financial performance. You will have a naturally curious mindset and have an ability to understand business operations.
- CA/CPA Qualified.
- A tertiary degree in finance or commerce.
- Experienced at leading and developing a small team.
- Be a strong and effective communicator.
- Be commercially aware of external competition.
- The role is a 12 month fixed term contract so you will enjoy the company benefits in full.
