MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Human Services Psychology Counseling or a related discipline *
- Formal training in substance use disorders
- A minimum of two years of experience providing individual group or family therapy
- An Iowa Substance Abuse Counselor Certification either a temporary-CADC or a CADC/IADC.
- If you are not certifiedat the time of hire you will be required to complete certification within six months
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications
- A Masters degree in a related field *
- Committed to ethical practice and maintaining high standards of care
- Proven success working with high-risk adolescents and their families with an ability to build rapport and establish trust
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skillsclear compelling and confident whether speaking writing listening or presenting
- A natural collaborator who thrives in team environments and brings creative problem-solving adaptability and emotional intelligence to every interaction
- Strong organizational skillsable to manage time effectively juggle multiple priorities and follow through on responsibilities with precision
