The CF Business Controller works as a key business partner to the US and Canadian CF business unit teams. The role takes responsibility for providing (i) accurate finance-based sales product and pricing information for the sales and marketing professionals of the CF business unit (ii) strategic financial analysis of the business such as impact of pricing product mix and product cost changes and (iii) financial analytics as requested to support the decision-making process. The role will support the regional finance team in its efforts to deliver outstanding business unit management reporting and planning budgeting and forecasting processes for the CF business units complying with Group and Regional timetables guidelines and internal controls.

Job Responsibilities:
Financial Insight & Business performance
Effectively partner with the General Manager and business leadership team to provide expert commercial insight ensuring appropriate analysis and identification of business opportunities and risk to drive business growth.
Work with plant management in decision making process that allows for profit maximization or cost minimization.
Recommend and highlight risks opportunities and alternatives in financial proposals.
Assess customer/product profitability and drive profit optimization through price/mix/cost reduction.
Monitor pricing at customer and SKU level preventing price leakages.
Support decision making process
Develop and assess business cases for new product development providing insights and support to the business.
Evaluate business results and serve as a functional expert to the VP Americas General Manager CF and key staff to provide strategic guidance and insights during the analysis process.
Make decisions and recommendations to ensure the quality and delivery of all finance-directed products and services.
Partner with CF business managers and Finance staff to develop costing/profitability models and reports.
Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions and present recommendations to leadership.
Financial planning and reporting
Own the development and communication of the strategic plan budget and forecast financial reporting operational analysis and executive reviews for Actuals Budget and Forecast.
Provide profitability analysis looking at customer manufactured location and product-level data.
Translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations and visualizations.
Design build and maintain reporting models.
Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound and thorough analysis.
Capital Expenditures
Assist Operations team in the preparation of CapEx investments requests and monitor actual spending as well as savings against approved targets.
Working Capital Management
Optimize working capital by assisting Supply Chain and Plant Controllers in assessments of inventory needs and Country Controllers in account receivable analysis.
Project Management
Lead critical financial projects for the Component Foams Business in Americas such as SAP enhancements and upgrades acquisitions lease vs. buy analysis decommissioning / asset disposals and financial systems implementation projects.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
CPA MBA preferred. Minimum requirement Bachelors in Finance Accounting Business
7-10 years experience in Finance supporting businesses of similar scope and complexity.
Experience analyzing sales marketing pricing product performance and competitive effects of similar style industry desired. Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
Must have knowledge and experience in business intelligence tools and dashboard reporting; SAC and BI experience is highly desirable.
Highly effective interpersonal abilities able to create and maintain productive work relationships with people who are not used to working with finance teams and terms across the enterprise.
Exceptional presentational skills with the ability to vary delivery and style to fit the intended to communicate ideas in both financial and user-friendly language.
Leadership; a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Ability to handle ambiguity and complex work processes and thrive in a dynamic growing and shifting industry and business climate.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively serve business leadership customers.
Ability to analyze problems exercise judgment make sound objective decisions and implement solutions at both a strategic and functional level.
Significant capability drive and initiative to create and manage own work agenda.
Ability to travel within the US and Canada as needed.
Knowledge of and experience with SAP HFM and MS Office suite (especially Excel).

The expected annual salary for this role is $105000.00 - $125000.00.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
