Cartas fund administration platform supports nearly 7000 funds and SPVs representing $150B in assets under administration in venture capital and private equity. Trusted by more than 40000 companies Carta also helps private businesses in over 160 countries manage their cap tables valuations taxes equity programs compensation and more.
Together Carta is creating the end-to-end ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions dont work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Cartas software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - its a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital.

The Team Youll Work With
The GTM Data and Analytics team is responsible for delivering analysis and reporting that provide leaders with deep visibility into the performance of Cartas GTM strategy. The team also equips teams with tools that help monitor their progress identify key opportunities and stay aligned with targets. Beyond reporting and enablement the team serves as a strategic advisor helping interpret insights and shape strategies to support Cartas ambitious growth objectives.

Act as a thought partner to senior GTM leaders owning analytical workstreams that inform our most critical revenue-driving decisions ranging from sales strategy and pipeline forecasting to segmentation pricing and campaign effectiveness. Youll bring a consultative mindset technical rigor and business acumen to drive high-impact outcomes.
- Own end-to-end analysis of sales performance marketing impact customer acquisition and retention and operational efficiency. Provide forward-looking insights to GTM and executive stakeholders.
- Build and maintain scalable models for forecasting territory planning pipeline health conversion funnel diagnostics and headcount/resource allocation.
- Work closely with senior leaders in Sales Marketing Product and Customer Success to shape strategy using data-driven insights. Act as a trusted advisor in executive forums and strategic planning sessions.
- Identify gaps in our data and analytics infrastructure and lead initiatives to enhance our measurement reporting and automation capabilities.
- Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to support MBRs Board-level insights and strategic planning processes.
About You
- 8 years of experience in GTM analytics business operations strategic finance or consulting ideally in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment
- Track record of influencing executive stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic thinking
- Advanced analytical toolkit: strong SQL and Excel skills; experience with BI tools
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR CAC CLTV funnel conversion churn etc.) and how they inform strategic decisions
- Highly self-directed and proactive; thrives in fast-paced ambiguous environments
- Strong business judgment with the ability to connect the dots between quantitative data and business outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a gift for simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences

Salary
Cartas compensation package includes a market competitive salary equity for all full time roles exceptional benefits and for applicable roles commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary commission if applicable) range for this role is: $168000 - $210000 in SF and NY. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography candidate experience and expertise and other factors.
