Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The laboratory of Prof. Yan Zhao in the Chemistry Department of Iowa State University is seeking a postdoctoral research associate with background in organic chemistry and catalysis. The successful candidate will design and synthesize functional polymeric nanoparticles as artificial enzymes. The appointment is for one year and renewable upon mutual consent.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Chemistry
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in organic synthesis
prior research experience in catalysis or bio-organic chemistry
