Base pay in range will be determined by applicants skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the companys 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Legal Department the Quality Enrichment Program Specialist is responsible for enhancing a culture of providing quality care and services to residents promoting regulatory compliance and advancing compliance with policies and procedures. This role supports strategic peer review enterprises focused on resident care and services as well as community operations analyzing findings derived from these enterprises and serves as a liaison across cross-functional teams to champion continuous quality improvement.

  1. Leads or evaluates strategic peer review visits at senior living communities with a focus on community operations and resident services including but not limited to (1) quality standards (2) regulatory compliance and (3) compliance with policies and procedures.
  2. Collects analyzes and compiles data from peer review visits and risk assessments providing privileged and confidential reports to the Legal Department regarding community operations and resident services.
  3. Evaluates operational and resident service risks and may conduct privileged internal investigations in response to incidents community practices or potential litigation. Summarizes and reports confidential findings to the Legal Department for further assessment.
  4. Serves as a liaison for cross-functional teams to implement effective resident-centered interventions.
  5. Conducts data analytics develops and maintains metric dashboards and identifies performance trends and patterns.
  6. Stays current on senior living best practices applicable regulations and internal policies to support peer review preparation and ensure focus on compliance and quality improvement during community evaluations.
  7. Leads analyses related to community incidents state regulatory surveys and peer review visits to support the development and implementation of quality enrichment initiatives to further promote community operations and enrich the quality services offered to residents.
  8. Collaborates with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and implement quality enrichment initiatives to further promote community operations and enrich resident services.
  9. Proficient in understanding and staying apprised of senior living best practices applicable regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  10. Under the direction of the Legal Department provides privileged and confidential reports and evaluations of peer review visits to leadership.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree with an emphasis in nursing business management healthcare management gerontology data analysis or similar field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the senior living industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in data analytics developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor performance indicators and identifying data metrics trends and patterns.
  • Strong analytical skills attention to detail and experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools for data collection analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Appreciation for the review and handling of sensitive information understanding resident privacy rights maintaining confidential information and preserving the attorney-client privilege and the attorney work product doctrine.

Certifications Licenses and Other Special Requirements
This position may require travel (20%-30%) by vehicle and air. A valid drivers license is required. This position will require the ability to work and travel some evenings and weekends.
