What you will be doing!
As a Level 2 Service Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the effective execution of service-related projects within a fast-paced mission-critical environment. You will collaborate closely with senior program managers internal stakeholders and government personnel to manage resource allocation mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery of project objectives. Your role is essential to maintaining performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) and adapting to shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall management of contract performance in collaboration with senior program leadership
- Allocate and manage project resources including personnel facilities and budgets
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee implementation of mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance and financials including cost tracking and schedule adherence
- Prepare and deliver formal project reviews briefings and status updates to Government PMs
- Interface with multiple internal teams and external partners to align execution with mission goals
- Adapt project schedules and priorities in response to evolving customer needs
- Support operational readiness and ensure responsiveness to after-hours or critical support requests as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong planning organizational and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation of project updates to executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in resource allocation scheduling and financial monitoring
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) DoD 5000 series and ICD 801
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic high-pressure environment with shifting priorities
- Availability to respond to after-hours project demands in support of SLA compliance
Education and Experience:- A total of fourteen (14) years of relevant experience is required which may include a combination of professional work and education. A masters degree may substitute for six (6) years a bachelors degree for four (4) years and an associates degree for two (2) years of experience.
- The qualifying degree must be in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Candidates must also have at least one (1) year of hands-on experience in requirements analysis project costing and deliverable tracking resource planning and monitoring/reporting of schedule and financial data.
Certifications:
- While not required the following certifications are preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) Entry Level or DAWIA Level 1 in Program Management.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.
