Position Purpose:
To provide clinical assessment and treatment to individuals seeking to understand and/or alleviate mental health substance use behavioral relationship distress. In addition to provide clinical consultation and supports to colleagues as needed.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Scope of Position:
The Senior Clinician provides evidenced-based treatment with the intention of helping clients and families gain insight and learn skills to better understand and address their reasons for coming to treatment. The Senior Clinician maintains a caseload that enables consistent meeting of the minimum direct service expectation set by the Program Director. The Senior Clinician collaborates with other HCRS providers and outside agencies and adheres to agency state federal and licensing board guidelines regarding ethical practice billing and documentation. The Senior Clinician may participate in time-limited workgroups that help advance agency standards and practices and provides consultation to adult staff in addition to the Area Manager. This consultation part of the role will not exceed 25% of the clinical productivity.

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Masters Degree in Social Work Clinical Mental Health Counseling Psychology or related field & Current Vermont License (LICSW LCMHC LADC LMFT)
Preferred: Masters Degree minimum 2 years of direct service experience
