Job Description

Role Mission:

As the Gucci Cashier your role is to provide impeccable customer service while efficiently and accurately processing transactions of all types of payment methods and providing accurate day-end reports.

You will serve as an ambassador of the brand embodying the luxury experience through delivering personalized attention upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ensuring that every transaction is conducted seamlessly with precision and integrity.


Key Accountabilities

  • Efficiently and accurately process all forms of payment transactions for client purchases while greeting clients warmly and assisting with their inquiries.
  • Ensure the cashier area is kept clean organized and presentable at all times. This includes keeping the counter free of clutter and ensuring sufficient supplies are available.
  • Process returns exchanges and refunds ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines store policies and with the supervision of store managers.
  • Ensure the cash register balance is accurate at the end of each shift by reconciling transactions and verifying receipts.
  • Follow security procedures to prevent theft and fraud including verifying the authenticity and compliance of large cash transactions and monitoring and reporting suspicious activities.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling customer service and store operations to ensure compliance and uphold brand standards.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on new products sales techniques and company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector.
  • High degree of ethics integrity trustworthiness and assertiveness in following company policies.
  • Attention to details organizational skills and accuracy in cash handling activities.
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Xstore and Microsoft Office.
  • Warm hospitable and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage clients needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with store management sales teams and other staff members.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as required by the retail industry.
