Who are we looking for

Were looking for a commercially focused Project Director particularly with Electrical experience to join our Energy & Power team in Adelaide. This is a pivotal role for someone who is energised by winning and leading high-quality projects building strong client relationships and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Leading the definition of project scopes and the design of technical solutions for clients in the Energy and Power sector.
  • Managing design stakeholders and leading technical delivery teams to ensure best-for-project outcomes.
  • Acting as Project Director/Manager for medium to large-sized projects including responsibility for documentation and client engagement.
  • Collaborating across service lines and mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Driving proposal development and identifying business development opportunities through client engagement and cross-selling.

What would you bring to the team

  • A bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field coupled with Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in engineering consulting or a relevant industry with a strong track record in project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Experience will include power and energy focused projects including delivery of BESS and renewables.
  • Deep knowledge of applicable standards and industry best practices.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to lead mentor and develop high-performing teams.
