TITLE: Site Coordinator
LOCATION: Thomas Paine ASCCP
SUPERVISOR: This position reports directly to the Director of ASCCP/BSCCP
JOB SUMMARY: The program leadership shall consist of a highly-trained individual who is able lead a team of staff in dealing with the everyday needs and interests of young children and at the same time provide a close relationship in the areas of understanding motivation and self-discipline in a group setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Program Site to include snack activities behavior management staff assignments first aid program planning emergency preparedness etc.
- Supervise guide support and evaluate Recreation Leaders.
- Coordinate daily building space usage for activities with Principal building and Program staff
- Maintain thorough records and compile reports as required such as snack logs subsidy attendance numbers weekly reports etc; maintaining accuracy in all work products; completing all tasks in a timely manner; and meeting all deadlines/due dates for deliverables.
- Responsible for maintaining the inventory and organization of materials and supplies; requesting materials and supplies as needed; and keeping the Program Site clean and all materials secured.
- Participate in staff development activities (as both a trainer and a participant) which lead to professional growth in school-age child care.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and conduct Site staff meetings on a regular basis.
- Maintain a positive courteous and professional relationship with children staff and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all Program matters such as employee issues family information participant behavior etc.
- Support the Program in every way possible through a positive attitude public relations fundraising events special events etc
- Be familiar with all participants and their families and cognizant of any other individuals so as to provide a secure environment.
- Works for the Director of the Program
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with elementary school youth in a recreational setting
- College coursework in Recreation K-12 Education Early Childhood Physical Education or related field
- Supervisory experience
LICENSES/CREDENTIAL:
- First Aid & CPR/AED Certification
- School-Age & Youth Development Early Childhood Education or Director Credential Level 1 or higher
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Starting pay rate is $18.50/hour

- This is not an exempt position.
- 6 hours/day (9:45am-10:45am; 1:30pm-6:30pm Monday-Friday)
