Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Contract Program Manager Cybersecurity (100% Remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager for a contract position. This individual will lead and coordinate a range of cybersecurity initiatives including IT asset management third-party access control and awareness training programs. The role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity governance strong project management skills and the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Projects:
- IT Asset Management: Build and maintain our inventory of hardware/software ensure SOX compliance
- Third-Party Access Management: Design and enforce controls for vendor/system access
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Roll out training programs phishing simulations track completion metrics. (Work with Cybersecurity team and Organizational Change Management specialist to develop.)
- CDPP Streamlining: Simplify our Cyber Data Privacy & Protection processes for faster exception handling.
- Vulnerability Management: Own the end-to-end process scanning prioritization remediation tracking
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce weekly status reports and a consolidated monthly KPI dashboard
- Escalate risks dependencies and budget variances promptly to the CDIO and Strategic Initiatives Program Manager
- Drive progress on initiatives
- Protect scope
- Push team assist team to deliver on priority items (on time on budget in scope)
Requirements
- 5 years in cybersecurity program or project management (oil & gas or similarly regulated industry preferred)
- Familiarity with SOX controls vendor governance and audit-ready documentation
- Proven track record driving multi-stream security programs to on-time on-budget delivery
- Excellent communicator - able to partner with technical teams and senior executives
- Ability to work in whitespaces and collaborate effectively while also being firm and assertive
