Job Description
If youre passionate about the environment process mechanics and innovation in water treatment were looking for an engineering candidate (CPI) or junior engineer to join our multidisciplinary Water Engineering team where youll contribute to the design rehabilitation and upgrading of drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities of various sizes in Quebec. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement allowing you to work alternately from home and at our Montreal office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of water treatment systems (drinking water wastewater and industrial processes)
- Write technical reports calculation notes specifications and plans in collaboration with the design team
- Support project managers in analyzing customer needs planning and executing mandates
- Carry out site visits technical surveys and construction monitoring
- Contribute to the selection of mechanical equipment and the development of process diagrams (P&ID)
- Perform hydraulic and process design calculations under the supervision of a senior engineer
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools methods and processes
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering water engineering chemical engineering or equivalent
- 0 to 5 years experience (internship or work experience an asset)
- Member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec or eligible to become a member
- Basic knowledge of wastewater and/or drinking water treatment plant design process mechanics and related works
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software; knowledge of design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit an asset)
- Good command of written and spoken French
- ASP Construction card or in the process of obtaining one
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
