The flight dispatcher plays an essential role in the flight operations department. He shares responsibilities with the pilot in command over the safety and operational control of flights in a type A environment. He authorizes flights by formulating and approving the operational flight plans and assures flight watch jointly with the pilot in command until engines shut-down.

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
