Job Description

You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position.A great chance for a neurosurgeon to build a practice the way you want it with full support from the hospital in McAllen TX. Strong interest in a neurosurgeon with spine training/experience due to large spine volumes in the Candidates:Must be board certified or board eligible in neurosurgeryAbility to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standingCandidates with experience or new residents/fellows will be consideredAccess to a da Vinci robot surgical system an o-arm a biplane unit and an angiography suiteUpgrading IR & cath labOpportunity to build brain/cranial/spineExperience with VNS/DBS and/or stroke would be a plusShared call with three other neurosurgeons in the community24/7 neurohospitalistsHuge community need for an additional neurosurgeon in the area Incentive/Benefits Package:Guaranteed base salary plus bonusesEmployment (501.a)Rich benefits packagePaid malpracticeCME days/allowance and vacationRelocation allowanceTexas has tort reform and no state income taxes
