Are you called to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families facing serious illness Senior Doc Management is seeking a dedicated Palliative Care Chaplain to offer guidance comfort and spiritual care to those in need. If you have a passion for serving others a deep understanding of diverse spiritual beliefs and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary care team we welcome you to apply!
Provide Compassionate Spiritual Care Offer direct spiritual and emotional support to patients and families addressing their individual needs with sensitivity and respect.
Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team Work closely with physicians nurses social workers and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Facilitate Meaningful Services Lead memorials religious ceremonies and bedside prayers tailored to each patients beliefs and preferences.
Offer Grief & Bereavement Support Provide counseling and resources to families before and after the loss of a loved one ensuring continued emotional and spiritual care.
Foster Community Partnerships Engage with local faith communities chaplains and volunteers to expand the reach of spiritual support services.
Spiritual Leadership Graduate of an accredited seminary or theology school (BD . or equivalent) and ordained or licensed minister. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training preferred.
Hospice & Palliative Care Experience Previous experience in healthcare chaplaincy hospice or palliative care is highly desirable.
Cultural Sensitivity & Interfaith Experience Ability to work in an inclusive interfaith setting respecting all cultural backgrounds spiritual beliefs and values.
Excellent Communication & Counseling Skills Capacity to provide empathetic listening crisis intervention and spiritual guidance to patients and families.
Team-Oriented Mindset Ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals social workers and caregivers.
Competitive Pay $32-$40 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
